The study is based on the data collected during research cruises of R/V “Professor Vodyanitskiy” in October 2016 and March-April 2017. The variations of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and chlorophyll-a distributions were considered as indicators of microplankton metabolically active biomass and production capabilities respectively.
