Oral Presentation
Presentation time for ORAL presentation is 10 minutes + 5 min for questions from the audience.
You shall make your presentation in a timely manner. Kindly note that the time is usually followed the the conference Chairman.

Publication ethics
Authors
The Author declares that the manuscript is original and in its present form has not been published elsewhere in any form, that it has not been submitted to any journal/proceedings and that it will not be submitted to any other journal/proceedings, if it is accepted for publication in the GEOLINKS Conference Proceedings.
The Author is responsible for the research they have been done and for the results described in the paper.
The Author warrants that the article doesn't infringe upon any copyright, contains no libelous or otherwise unlawful statements, and does not otherwise infringe on the rights of others.
The Author transfers the copyright for this publication/article to the GEOLINKS Conferences.
The Author licenses to the Publisher the right to distribute the Article as a part of GEOLINKS Conference proceedings.
Submission Guidelines
Abstract Submission
An abstract between 300 to 500 words, clearly summarising the arguments, should be submitted before deadline.
The preferred length of paper (including footnotes) is 5,000 words (maximum limit). In general, please confine your paper between 10-12 pages, everything included.

It is author's responsibility to ensure that all references and citations are correct, and that the contribution does not contain any material that infringes copyright, or is defamatory, obscene or otherwise unlawful or litigious. Please check GEOLINKS Tips.

Copyright in the article will remain jointly with the owner of the copyright and the Publisher. By submitting an article to the conference, the owner of the copyright grants the publisher with a license to publish the article. The author warrants that he is the owner of all rights of copyright in the article. Where the author subsequently publishes the article, the author is requested to acknowledge the article appeared in the conference proceedings.

The Author(s) will indemnify and defend the Publisher against any claim, demand or recovery against the Publisher by reason of any violation of any proprietary right or copyright, or because of any libellous or scandalous matter contained in the Manuscript.

What is the Lecturer form of participation?
As a Lecturer at GEOLINKS Conference you will receive virtual attendance of the scientific sessions, workshop sessions and networking. We will expect you to send us poster material presenting your research within the conference deadline or to make the recording or your oral presentation together with the GEOLINKS team. Please check GEOLINKS Tips for Poster and Oral presentation. Please note that after the conference you will receive a copy of the conference book or CD with your article published in it and a Certificate of Attendance.

What is the PhD Student form of participation?
As a PhD Student at GEOLINKS Conference you will receive virtual attendance of the scientific sessions, workshop sessions and networking. As PhD Student you are not supposed to come to the venue and present your research. We will expect you to send us poster material presenting your research within the conference deadline or to make the recording or your oral presentation together with the GEOLINKS team. Please check GEOLINKS Tips for Poster and Oral presentation. Please note that after the conference you will receive a copy of the conference book or CD with your article published in it and a Certificate of Attendance. To benefit from this form, please note that you shall present document verifying your current study.

What is the Publisher form of participation?
Please note that as Publisher you are not supposed to come at the venue and present your research. We are expecting your full paper within the conference deadline and we will publish it in the conference proceedings. After the conference you will receive a copy of the conference book/CD with your article published in it by post.

What is Delegate type of participation?
As a Delegate at GEOLINKS Conference you will receive virtual attendance of the scientific sessions, workshop sessions and networking. In this form no papers are included to be presented. Moreover as a Delegate you will receive a conference CD with all published papers in all conference proceedings. A password will be sent to you before the conference starts to access each conference day program.
What is the procedure of publishing COVID-19 FREE paper?
Each registered GEOLINKS Participant can publish additional paper related to the COVID-19 outbreak. After committee approval the paper will be published FOR FREE as an additional paper for registered participants in all participation forms. Please send the publishing team via email or the abstract submission form the Abstracts of the COVID-19 related papers.

How long does abstract approval take?
The GEOLINKS Review Committee usually approves or rejects an abstract in a period of 7-14 days. After the official decision of the Committee every participant will receive an official abstract approval letter.
What is the procedure of an article approval for publication in the GEOLINKS Conference proceedings?
First you need to upload an abstract of your article after choosing your form of participation during GEOLINKS Conference. For more information regarding abstracts please click here.
The review process usually takes between 7-14 days. After abstract approval you will be asked by GEOLINKS Team to upload your full article for detail review and evaluation. Please note that every article will be under double blind peer review prior to its publication. You will receive an official letter approving your full article.

What is published in the Conference Proceedings?
In the Conference Proceedings are published the full scientific articles together with their abstracts. Every approved paper has its unique DOI number.

When are the conference proceedings printed?
The GEOLINKS Conference Proceedings will be printed in hard copy 20 days after the end date of the online event. The conference proceedings will be uploaded in their online version upon the start of the online event. After the last day of the event authors will have 14 days period to review and make corrections to the print representation of their research. After this period, comments are implemented, final hard copies are published and sent to the participants postal addresses.

Where I can choose if I wish to receive hard copy of the conference proceedings or CD with all published materials?
While making your registration you will be asked how you wish to receive your conference proceedings after the event. Also, before the official dispatch you will be emailed to verify your postal address and your desire how you wish to receive your contribution. If you choose to receive your contribution on CD, you will receive a conference CD with all published volumes on your postal address. Participants, which wish to receive their contribution in hard copy, will receive only the volume with their published research.

How participants can edit their papers after the conference proceedings publication?
As GEOLINKS has become a virtual event, the publication team has become more flexible. Approximately 20 days after the conference the full version of the PDF of each conference volume will be distributed to the authors of the volume. Then each author will have 14 days to make any corrections to his text if needed. Comment on the preprint version will be accepted and corrected before the GEOLINKS proceedings are sent for early evaluation. With this action we are sure that better presentation of the scientific work will be implemented.

How access will be given to my colleagues?
As a Virtual Lecturer, PhD Student, Publisher and Delegate you can provide access to the virtual conference to your co-authors and peers. Before the conference, the team will contact you via email and you can verify the emails to which you wish to grant access for the upcoming online event. They will receive a password and instructions via email one day prior the event

How oral presentations will be recorded for the Virtual event?
Each GEOLINKS Participant will have his 20-30 minutes online call solely with the organizing committee in the period 26th April-3rd May,in which he shall make the presentation. Only audio recording over the ppt will be required. The presenter will make his presentation only in front of the organizing team, which will then cut and rework the record of the presentation. All morning and afternoon sessions will be premiered on the original day of the program. All authors can also send their own voice recordings until 7 May 2021. Voice over can be recorded directly to the presentation or sent in separate file.

How poster presentations will be presented for the Virtual event?
Each GEOLINKS Participant must send the organizing committee his poster presentation within the conference deadline. The Poster presentation will be uploaded on the conference website and locked with password. All morning and afternoon sessions will be premiered on the original day of the program.

How can I pay my registration fee?
You will be asked to pay after submitting your abstract. You will get an email back with confirmation and information on how to proceed for payment.
Please note that you'll be asked upon registration if you prefer Personal or Company payment. All bank payments will be made based on issued proform invoices. If you choose online payment you'll be generated a PayPal link for secure payment.

Where can I see a conference program?
The conference program will be available on the website one month prior the Conference. You can check now the preliminary Conference agenda.
